Wink Engineering provides comprehensive engineering services, from front-end engineering through start-up and construction management. Services include:

Wink has licensed professionals and expertise in all disciplines of engineering:Process / Chemical; Mechanical / Piping; Civil; Structural; Electrical; Instrumentation / Controls. Wink specializes in the following:

  • Debottlenecks & Revamps. In-house capability to initiate a project by planning and conducting a test run and then simulating the process to determine the required work scope needed to meet our client’s objectives.
  • Grass Roots Facilities. Provide both front end and detailed engineering. For most of these projects, front-end engineering includes feasibility studies and development of economic alternatives.
  • Plant Utility and Infrastructure projects. Engineering studies, alternatives analysis and front-end engineering, and detailed design engineering services for projects including cooling water, steam, air, boiler feed water, plant fuel gas, natural gas, nitrogen, and oxygen systems.
  • Master Services Agreements. Ongoing engineering services in which the Wink team serves as an extension of the plant’s engineering department, taking total ownership of each project.
  • Process Hazard Analysis. Highly experienced facilitators and scribes with experience in the full range of Process Hazard Analysis services.
  • PSV and Relief Systems. We have performed system-wide studies; adequacy review and assessment; and detailed design services for flare and pressure relief systems
  • System Hydraulic Modeling. Wink’s process engineers perform hydraulic modeling of plant systems using PipePhase, KY Pipe, DynSim, Pipeflo, Sinet XLT, Inplant, Visual Flow, and internally developed software.
  • Marine Vapor Control. U.S. Coast Guard “Certifying Entity;” design, certification and re-certification of more than 150 MVC systems.

Our professional in-house Procurement Department has the knowledge and experience to procure goods and services in the most timely, cost-effective manner, while meeting our Client’s purchasing and contracting requirements.

  • Full service procurement including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, expediting, transportation, coordination of inspections, invoice reconciliation, and time and expense tracking.
  • Bid management services for both open and sealed bid processes.
  • Vendor identification, qualification, and selection services.
  • Purchasing with client commitments or with Wink commitment (Wink “paper”).
  • Extensive experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Solid relationships with many industrial equipment vendors, manufacturers, constructors and service providers.
  • Routinely prepare and/or review construction and fabrication contracts for our clients’ projects.
